This Ketubah is inspired by the mystery of the ancient Israeli city of Safed. The colorful symbols represent elements that hold a home together: Heart – for love; Pomegranates – for fruitfulness; Menorah – for the light of Jewish values; Hamsa – for protection against the evil spirit; Eye – for the ever seeing eye of good judgment. The magical blue of the background is a shade found all over Safed –the blue of the sky and the sea.
