Shabbat
Shabbat (or Shabbos– in Yiddish) is the Jewish Day of Rest. It begins 18 minutes before sunset on Friday and ends at nightfall on Saturday when three stars are visible in the night sky.
We regard Shabbat as a day of joy and holiness, a day of spiritual refreshment, and a way to recharge and bring peace into our lives. We set this time aside to be with family, friends, and community.
