In this Ketubah there is a representation of a home with symbols of the Jewish heritage, open to nature and its richness, to Jerusalem on the right side ("If I forget thee O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning", Psalms, 137, 5) and to the world in general, on the left side. As in most of my Ketubot, here too the seven species of Israel symbolize the blessing of abundance and richness to the couple, and a few pairs of birds represent the building of a nest, a home. At the center of the "roof" there is an image that has been embroidered on the velvet cover of the ark in synagogues throughout our history, with the tablets of the Ten Commandments, the lions of Judah, the crown of the Torah, and pomegranates, which were embroidered on the robe of Aaron, the Cohen.

On both sides of the roof there are symbols of Shabbat, the most important of the Jewish holidays -- the candles, the challah and the wine. Below the roof, on a panel made of Stars of David there are the phrases "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine", and "A voice of joy, a voice of delight, a voice of a groom and a voice of a bride". On the bottom panel, below the flowers (which are of all seasons, to represent the passage of time and the flow of the seasons), there are symbols of the major holidays of the Jewish year, Rosh Hashanah, Sukkot, Chanukkah, Purim and Passover. The fig tree and the grape vine echo Micah's prophecy of peace and tranquility, when "every one shall sit under their fig tree and their grape vine".
